Project: Modifications to Factory Wall

ICS won the contract to form 5 New openings in an existing factory wall for a national rolling stock manufacturer.

The work consisted of the removal of existing crane beam columns, the excavation and construction of new reinforced foundation pads for new crane beam columns, propping of the existing 650mm thick wall whilst the openings were formed, installation of new offsite manufactured support steel, construction of ramps and new machine pads.

This was all undertaken within a live manufacturing environment where dust had to be controlled.

The work was completed on time to the client’s satisfaction.
